Registered Nurses

Medical and Injury Centre is an accredited Urgent Care Clinic co-located with a small General Practice near the city centre. Our clinic has over 29000 patient presentations per annum and is open 8am-10pm 7 days a week.

We are seeking passionate and efficient registered nurses to join our friendly staff. You’ll have a great team around you every day working in an organisation that believes in its’ purpose.

You must have a current and valid NZNC registration, APC and Core Advanced certificate. Previous experience in emergency or acute care is desired, including triage skills.

The successful applicants will have a high degree of understanding and competency in

• building and maintaining excellent relationships
• being able to work autonomously and as part of a team
• patient focus and an understanding of triage assessment
• strong attention to detail coupled with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment

The roles will cover up to 32 hours per week Monday to Sunday between 8am and 10pm. Our shifts are usually between 6 and 7 hours. Flexibility to work across all areas of the centre is required.

Nelson boasts a vibrant arts and café scene, vineyards and bike trails, beaches and 3 National Parks all on our door step.
