Administration Team Leader

The Administration Team Leader is a new role, put in place to lead, manage and support our awesome administration and receptionist team. A key member of the Centre’s Team, if you are exploring new work horizons this year, we’d love you to consider working with us.

Medical and Injury Centre (MIC) is a joint venture between Nelson Bays Primary Health (a Primary Health Organisation) and local General Practices. Our Centre provides 7 days a week urgent and general medical care for local Nelson/Tasman residents and visitors to our region.

We are striving for excellence in all aspects of our service, both to the public and within the business. This role is an opportunity to lead and support a great team while providing your ideas and guidance to further enhance our administration processes and service delivery.

To support you in this role we offer/provide:

  • Days & hours of work – Monday to Friday, 8.00am-5.00 pm

     (open for discussion: later start time/earlier finish)

  • Hourly rate range:  $27.00-29.00/hour
  • 5 paid training days

The role requires:

  • Demonstrated leadership skills that will support a positive and inclusive team culture
  • Adaptable, flexible and not be afraid of a busy day
  • Work well under pressure with competing priorities
  • A sense of humour that allows you to create and maintain strong relationships
  • Great verbal and written communication skills
  • Extraordinary frontline customer service experience
  • Experience in a continuous improvement approach to work technologies, systems and processes
  • Knowledge and understanding of office and administration procedures
  • Computer literate with Microsoft suite, Xero and ideally, Medtech 32 (but not essential)

Applicants for this position will need to be current NZ residents (with a valid (12 month minimum) NZ work visa if applicable) and to have a satisfactory Covid19 vaccination status.
